June Weddings follows single father RJ (Sundance-winner Tom Noonan) into a New York City bar after the wedding of his only son, where RJ escaped to have a quiet beer and practice his reception speech. He meets Russian barfly Sonja (Obie-award winner Elzbieta Czyzewska) sipping screw-top champagne and reading Chekhov. A lifetime of hurts spill out, an intimacy is forged, and a speech nearly forgotten.

The life story of a girl named June from 16 years of her age until she turned 26, thereby giving an insight into those ten years of her life.

Young, innocent, and quirky June (Felicia Day), a violinist, spends her days working in an oddball Venice coffee shop, her nights rehearsing for a professional music career, and all-hours daydreaming about the beautiful man that's destined just for her. When she actually meets him in her own apartment building, she finds out Jack (Chris Henry Coffey) is engaged to the quintessential gorgeous bitch, Quinn (Cindy Dolenc). The conflict ensues and the romance is tested. Whether it's indulging her loony Grandma (Ellen Geer) through rehearsals of her own funeral, or dealing with the overzealous video-store manager (Ted Michaels) and his crush, June stumbles through her potential love life, her best friend Mary at her side.

On the hottest day of summer, best-frenemies Emily and Nora embark on their usual quest to find something to do, completely oblivious to the fact that they are widely hated by absolutely everyone in their small town.

June is a coming of age drama set in Aurangabad. Drawing from writer-producer Nikhil Mahajan's own childhood and of those known to him, June is a soaring portrait of two troubled people who help each other heal.
